Damaged amateur recordings from then, now, far afield, around the corner, on the porch & under the pews. Penitent drones & the blues that gave them birth. Treasured bargain-bin Jesus hymns & equally fervent agnostic gospels.
Ballads & beatitudes, gallops & groans, the ecstatic & the unspeakable: the people's music
– of, for & by. Don't you dare call it a revival.

and yeah I picked that specific AMETHYST track because if josephine goes all "NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY" on the recording I can be like "look dude I asked the sax player and he said it was OK"
hm after some pondering I've come to the conclusion that this oversight is on account of the fact that I didn't actually know that even though I have at least one blue shift tape from a crate that someone gave me, moving it up to the top of my queue now! also ily thx 4 listening <3
OH WOW OH WOW AMETHYST feat/ SUDDEN AUDIENCE SAX by RANDO DINNER GUEST
and -- you pronounced "Cybele" right, but didn't mention that she performs as the noise-violin act "Blue Shift"
